Why I Chose the Name Pilates Baddie

People often ask me why I chose the name Pilates Baddie.

For me, being a "baddie" has nothing to do with looking a certain way, fitting a trend, or being perfect.

A Pilates Baddie is a woman who shows up for herself. She moves her body because it makes her feel strong, capable, and energized. She prioritizes her health, protects her peace, and knows that confidence comes from within and not from a number on a scale.

Pilates teaches us so much more than exercise. It teaches patience, consistency, resilience, and body awareness. Every time you roll out your mat, you're making a choice to invest in yourself.

But being a Pilates Baddie doesn't mean living on salads, saying no to every treat, or striving for perfection.

I believe in consistency, not restriction. I love movement, but I also enjoy indulging in a Brunch or having dessert, chips, and my favorite snacks in moderation. Health is about balance, not extremes. It's about creating habits you can actually enjoy and sustain for life.

That's what Pilates Baddie represents.

  • Strength over perfection.

  • Confidence over comparison.

  • Consistency over extremes.

  • Balance over restriction.

  • Moving because you love your body, not because you hate it.

Whether you're a beginner, returning to movement, or deep into your Pilates journey, there's a Pilates Baddie in all of us.

And my goal is to help you find her.
